Method
- Cook pasta al dente, reserving ½ cup pasta water.
- Heat olive oil, sauté garlic and red pepper flakes for 1 minute.
- Add broccoli, cook 5-7 minutes until tender-crisp.
- Add chickpeas, broth, and lemon juice. Simmer 2-3 minutes.
- Mix pasta into the pan, add pasta water if needed.
- Season with salt and pepper, add parmesan if using. Serve warm.
Notes
Adjust the amount of red pepper flakes to your spice preference.
