  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Method
 

  1. Whisk together flour, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika in a bowl.
  2. Whisk together milk and egg in another bowl.
  3. Place breadcrumbs in a third bowl.
  4. Dip chicken in flour, then milk, then breadcrumbs, ensuring it's fully coated.
  5. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  6. Carefully place chicken nuggets in the hot oil, being careful not to overcrowd the pan.
  7. Fry for 5-7 minutes, or until golden brown, flipping halfway through.
  8. Remove nuggets and place on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
  9. Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

For extra crispy nuggets, double dip in the breadcrumbs!
