Method
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add chicken to the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes per side, or until golden brown.
- Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- Reduce heat to medium and add garlic to the skillet. Cook for 1 minute, or until fragrant.
- Pour in chicken broth and bring to a simmer, scraping up any browned bits.
- Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Simmer for 2-3 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened.
- Return chicken to the skillet and coat with the sauce.
- Garnish with fresh parsley (if using) and serve hot.
