Method
- Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add chicken and cook until browned and cooked through (5-7 minutes). Season with salt and pepper.
- Add garlic and cook until fragrant (about 30 seconds).
- Pour in chicken broth and simmer, scraping up browned bits.
- If using, stir in heavy cream. Reduce heat and simmer for a minute.
- Stir in pasta and Parmesan cheese. Toss to coat.
- Stir in parsley.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. Add red pepper flakes if desired.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
For a richer flavor, use freshly grated Parmesan cheese.
