Method
- Pat chicken dry and season with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
- Whisk together honey, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger in a small bowl.
- Pour honey garlic sauce over chicken. Bring to a simmer.
- Whisk cornstarch and water in a small bowl to create a slurry.
- Stir cornstarch slurry into the simmering sauce. Cook until sauce thickens, about 2-3 minutes.
- Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
- Serve over rice, garnished with green onions.
Notes
For a spicier kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the sauce.
